I found two methods, you can be sure of what sets your speakers to pair mode by reading the manual (if you have it). If you don`t have it, follow below methods. One of them should work with you.Method 1:OPTION 1 CONNECT WIRELESSLYWhen turned on for the first time, BIG JAMBOX™ will automatically enter pairing mode. To pair, go to Bluetooth settings on your smartphone, tablet, computer or device and connect to “BIG JAMBOX by Jawbone”.Enter “0000”if asked for a passcode.To enter pairing mode after turning on, hold the pairing button until the LED flashes red & white.Method 2:PREPARE YOU R JAM BOX FOR PAIRING1= Hold the ON/OFF SWITCH in the up-most position for about 3 seconds.2= Wait for the LED Light to flash red & white. You will hear JAMBOX say that it is ready to pair.3= Release the ON/OFF SWITCH to the middle/on position.PREPARE YOUR PHONE OR DEVICETurn on Bluetooth. ON AN IPHONE®, IPOD®, OR IPAD® Go to SETTINGS GENERAL and enable BLUETOOTH.ON A BLACKBERRY® Go to SETTINGS/OPTIONS BLUETOOTH and enable BLUETOOTHOTHER CELL PHONES review the instruction manual that came with your phone.MAKE THE CONNECTIONGo to your device’s Bluetooth® settings. Hi,Most of the people I know that owns this type of speaker has issues of pairing their gadgets through Bluetooth.For some reason, each time the device found the Jam and attempted to pair, the connection would fail “due to lack of resources.”What you can do is to alternatively choose “Set Up Bluetooth Device' or anything that would allow your device to add the device on your phone.
